Exhibitors & Parents

Is it free to use Horse Spot?

Yes, Horse Spot is free for exhibitors! It is up to Show Management whether or not they work a small fee into the office fee to cover our pay per entry model.

How do I find a show and add an entry?

Find a show by going to horsespot.net and search by name, venue, location, or date. Each show will specify open and closed dates for entries. Not finding the show you’re looking for? Email us at support@horsespot.net and we can help answer any questions. It could be that Show Management hasn’t published it live yet.

How do I pay to add an entry?

Show Management has the ability to require or not require exhibitors to securely add a credit card on hold via Horse Spot in order to make an entry and reserve their spot. Users can view fees on the Show Dashboard before registering. Going through our entry flow, users will find Required Fees such as bedding types and stabling types they can choose from. And Optional Fees such as a Tack Stall or Hay orders. Show Management will also display fixed fees such as the office fee, medic fee, organizational fees, etc. These fees will be added to an entry show bill and not collected at the time of registration.

Can I still pay by check or cash? Do you accept Venmo or Zelle? What payment methods does Horse Spot accept?

Yes, absolutely—users can still pay by check or cash. Show Management will have an invoice ready for you at the end of the show which you can pay for in person or by a mobile payment link. Our system will record whether you’ve paid by cash or check with any special memos. Exhibitors can also securely add a credit card on file. We accept all major credit cards. Users can also pay through Zelle or Venmo via our mobile payment links (Coming in 2025).

I’ve added an entry but I need to cancel. What should I do?

Email Show Management or support@horsespot.net for support. Please review Show Management’s refund policy they have set on their show dashboard page.

I have a problem at checkout!

First check that all of your information is correct. Check the validity of a card you may be trying to use. Please note, you can only register for one show at a time. If you are still having problems, please contact support@horsespot.net

How do I add/scratch a class?

Go to “My Shows” and click into a show you’re registered for. Right from the main dashboard you should see a “Quick Add/Scratch” module where you can select your entry, search your division or class and submit. Given the amount exhibitors can add/scratch we’ve limited the amount of transactional emails users get. In order to check the status of your adds & scratches, please view a status update on your show dashboard.

The show I am attending is not on Horse Spot. Can I still use your app?

Unfortunately, users at shows not supported by Horse Spot can not use our platform on an individual basis as schedules and results are routed through Show Management. As Horse Spot continues to grow, we appreciate your referrals and support. If Horse Spot is not at the show you’re attending, let us know and we can see what we can do about it! Also, let the show office know what you’re looking for in horse show tech as a paying customer. You may just convince them to make the switch!

Can I save shows to enter into at a later time?

Users can share shows but they cannot save shows at this time. As Horse Spot continues to grow and add features, we will allow users to “Favorite” shows or add them to their “Wishlist” in 2025.

How do I find my results?

On the Show Dashboard, click or tap on “Results & Live Feed”. You’ll see classes organized by ring but don’t feel like you have to scroll through all of that data—use the handy search engine above by typing in a class name, rider name, horse, or entry number.

When do I go?

Horse Spot allows Show Management to set estimated times. We do the math and calculate trips and breaks. Head to your schedule to view what classes are running and which ones are coming up. If your show utilizes Live Scoring, you can view who is on course, who has gone, and riders on deck.
